Each season, the great shirting mills of England, Italy, Switzerland and Japan reserve exclusively for us a rich assortment of high count cottons, all in rich, luxurious shades. We specialize in two-ply cottons, the standard in European cotton fabrics, for their luxurious benefits to the wearer. These cottons are without compromise - typically two ply in the warp and two ply in the weft, which makes them feel better, look better, and last longer than other yarns. For finishing flair, our single needle French seams create a smooth, high-quality appearance and soft feel.

Select your collar style. Collars will be the same color as the fabric, but you can also select “white collar” if you prefer. Want a custom collar not featured here? Choose the last option, “Custom Selection.” Then contact our office to discuss. Many customers send us a photo or sample of a collar they wish to match.

MyTailor goes to great lengths (and heights) to please. You can change the point length and back height of your collar. Otherwise, your collar will be in the dimensions that are standard for the style you have chosen.
Choose stitch placement for collars and cuffs. Classic and contemporary options.
Select a cuff style, including the option of a white cuff. Prefer a custom cuff not pictured here? Choose “Custom Selection.” Then contact our office to discuss. Many customers send us a photo or sample of a cuff they wish to match.
Choose this option for a short sleeve shirt. Note that when you choose this option, any selections you’ve made in the long sleeve cuffs category are cancelled. (And that’s the long and short of it.)
Choose the number and type of pocket you want. You can have classic, regular pocket with flap and button, or rounded pocket. Sorry, no pocket protectors available at this time.
Exposed or hidden buttons. Placket, plain or fly. Select from many famous looks for your customized shirtfront.
We’ve got your back. Pleats. Plain. Darts. Take your choice. Side pleats and Box pleats give you extra forward arm movement. Lower darts give you a nice contour in the lower back for a more tapered look.

Once you have created a custom shirt style by choosing collars, pockets, cuffs and other details, you can save this custom style for future use (You need a MyTailor.com Account). Simply enter a name for the style (John’s Traditional Shirt, for example), save it and you can use it again next time you order. You can create names for several of your favorite styles. The names will appear in a styles menu for easy use next time.
