My six custom suits are absolutely superb. The fit and finish are second to none and i work on wall street. I plan to visit you at the short hills hilton in october to get measured for a new top coat, i would like to bring the pants (6) with me so you can make some minor adjustments (the waist and seat area need some minor tailoring). I would feel more comfortable if you could see the pants on me when you make the adjustments so they can fit perfect (like the jackets). I also would like to get measured for my fitted shirts again; there seems to be to much material on the sides (due to some weight loss on my part). Thanks again Joe for such quality workmanship, i feel like a million bucks when wearing one of your suits. You will have my business for a very long time to come. Thanks again.

Recently I received my first custom items from you: two shirts and a sport coat. The fit me PERFECTLY and look great. The shirts fit right everywhere (the shoulders, the chest, the waist, etc.) and the jacket (an unusual single-breasted narrow peak lapel) fits so well, it almost looks like I was born in it. One thing really hit me when I wore my new clothes out for the first time: when garments are so perfectly suited and fitted to you body, they appear simply as sophisticated extension of your basic person. Where in some situations, wearing formal clothes you might feel "over dressed," when you're wearing custom clothes, dressing up comes off as more of an everyday, "This is just the way I dress" kind of a thing. Folks who see you are likely first to think, "Wow, that person looks really good," rather than "Wow, that person is dressed in fancy clothes." You don't notice the "fancy" part as much as the "fits beautifully" part. Thank you sincerely for helping me make looking my best a part of my everyday routine. I look forward to many future orders. Custom Suits for a Price That Won't Give You Fits (Letter to the editor in Wall Street Journal November 13, 2002)

I was intrigued by Teri Agins's Nov. 8 article on custom-tailored suits. Ninety percent of my suits, blazers and trousers purchased over the past 20 years have been custom-tailored. The only time I ever bought "off the rack" was in an emergency, when I didn't have enough lead time for fitting, construction and delivery of my preferred custom suit. Any buying off the rack is usually a disappointment after you've purchased a custom suit. I must say, however, that the prices Mr. Feld paid seem very steep, even for a custom-tailored suit. I have been going to Hemrajani Bros. Ltd. for nearly 20 years. In fact, I just received two suits (with all of those custom details mentioned in the article) and a pair of trousers, and the total cost, including shipping, handling, taxes and customs duties came to $1,500. And trust me, the quality and durability of the fabric is no doubt equal, if not better than that for which Mr. Feld paid $3,800. I guess the name "Saks" is worth the additional $2,300? I doubt Winona Ryder would agree.

Before I begin I want to commend you on the quality of the shirts that you made for me.
I have purchased high quality off the rack shirts in the past (e.g. Thomas Pink and Hugo Boss) as well as some customized shirts (Hickey Freeman) and I have to say that your shirts are of a better quality and offered at a better price.
Your materials are up to par with theirs if not above. And the fit of your shirts exceeds the fit I can get with theirs by a wide margin, and I am not a strange size (15.5 by 33).

I just received my first dress shirt and I must say I am very impressed! The fit is perfect. Now I know how poorly my store bought shirts fit. I have never had any custom dress shirts made until I found your website. My size isn't too unusual so in the past I've just bought off the rack dress shirts but I was never completely satisfied about the fit. I need a trim fit in the waist and it is very hard to find that cut off the rack. Secondly,your pricing is the best around...no one comes close. Another reason for having custom made shirts is that they are unique. I can choose a fabric, collar, cuffs, etc. exactly to my liking. You can't do that in an off the rack shirt! I know that my shirts won't be like anyone else's. I will definitely be ordering more shirts in the future from the Hemrajani Bros. Now I just have to decide on the fabrics.

I must admit some trepidation buying a made to measure suit from you since the tailors are so far away and I usually require at least two fittings to get the suit done to my expectations. I just received my clothes today, a suit and 6 shirts. I tried the suit and shirts on and can't believe how well it fits.
I purchased 2 suits from a local custom tailor, I am still going back to them in December because they can't get the fit right!
I want to order a few more suits from you so yes, please tour the Northern Virginia/ Washington, DC area soon - I'm not sure I want to pick fabric off the internet.

I've paid over $1,000 in the past for off-the-rack suits and had them altered. I can say without reservation that my Hemrajani Brothers suits are by a considerable margin the finest suits I've ever owned. The fabrics, designs, workmanship and most importantly, fit, are unparalleled. And why anyone would pay over $100 for a dress shirt that is not made by the Hemrajanis is one of life's great mysteries.

I recently ordered a dress shirt from you as a Christmas present for my fiance. I have tried to find shirts "of the rack" for him in the past, with no success. My fiance is very broad across the shoulders with a large neck. The Problem with "off the rack" shirts lies here; he has a 19" neck with a 36" waist. If we purchase a shirt that is the proper neck sizethere is too much material around his waist; almost double what there should befor a proper fit. I found your web site on Christmas Eve and began exploring options. Without having him here with me I very simply entered his measurements where asked. I must admit I was very anxious about how the shirt would fit. I had the sides tapered hoping it was the right thing to do. The shirt arrived just a few days ago. Two weeks earlier than I had expected. When he tried it on it fit perfectly. It fit him as if a tailor had measured him. He was so pleased with the fit and craftsmanship of the garment he simply couldn't wait to wear it. Thank you so very much for such a well made dress shirt that fits perfectly.
