The Six Ways
There are six easy ways to find your perfect size and get shirts custom
tailored to your precise specifications. Which one do you choose? The one that
is easiest for you.
If you have measured by our representatives already or planning to give your
measurements later please use a 3rd option in the returning customer section.
1) If your last order was a perfect fit, and you need no
changes, use this option. We'll match your last order in every detail.
2) If you want a standard sized shirt, but
want to make it truly your own, this option is for you. Simply add your neck,
sleeve and body measurements and select your preferred fit.
3) We ask you to measure your body. This option is great if
you havenot ordered from MyTailor.com in the past, or if you do not have a
shirt that fits almost perfectly.
4) If you have a best fitting shirt, use this option to
begin making your new 100% custom fitted shirts. You can add and subtract neck,
sleeve and body measurements, and add special touches to create your custom
shirts.
5) Use the mail your shirt option if you have a shirt that
fits great and you prefer that we do the measurements. When you choose this
option, we'll tell you where to mail your shirt and you can confirm the
details.
6) Use this option If you were happy with your last shirt but want to update
it. We'll find your record and make the adjustments.
The
importance of precise measurements No two people are exactly alike. To give you the best custom fitting shirt,
it is essential that we get your most precise personal measurements.
Quick
solution: Standard Size measuring option You can order a standard sized shirt by choosing the 'Make Shirt in
Standard Size' option. Choose this method and no measuring is required.
Putting
measurements in the fields All measurements should be entered in inches, except your weight (which is
in pounds.)
Finding
equivalents You can see inches converted to centimeters, stone to lbs., or kilograms to
lbs. by clicking on the 'Metric Conversion Chart' button on the measurement
page.
We will show you the converted value of your typed number to
appropriate cm or kg automatically by side.
Metric
Conversion Chart Your key to converting measurements to the units of your choice.
"My preferred
fit" Although we use your measurements, your preferred fit - extra full, classic
or tapered - provides an exact idea of your best fitting Shirt size. Choosing
your preferred fit helps us make slight changes that to your shirt to ensure
that it looks great on you.
Save your sizes for Future use Choose your preferred sizes from any of the New Customer options and fill
up the required input. At the bottom of the page you can select the check box
named
(You may need a MyTailor.com Account). Now your given sizes are saved across
your account for future orders.
Ordering
the same fit you ordered before Choose the Make My Shirt Same as Last Option to select the same
measurements as last order. We keep all your sizes and details in our database
for later reference.
For adding any changes or extra comments to the measurements from your last
order, kindly use the Make Same as Last with Changes option.
Laundry
information Don't worry. You won't be receiving a free box of detergent and endless
cycles of telemarketing calls. We request laundry information so we can
anticipate the shrinkage of each garment, and make subtle adjustments to ensure
a magnificent fit.
Best
way to get a great fitting shirt If you carefully follow our measurement instructions, you are sure to get
the right fitting. However, the most popular option is to mail us your best
fitting shirt and allow us to do the measurements. We'll handle your shirt with
kid gloves and return it with your new order.
Oversize
charges
Oversize shirts require extra work on our part, as well as additional fabric.
